Social Impact Initiatives
DhanSarthi, my Pan-India Non-Profit Organisation
I started DhanSarthi in January 2023, driven by the need to bridge the gap in financial knowledge and access for women in rural India. Growing up, I saw how financial exclusion limited opportunities for women, including my own mother, and I wanted to create a platform that would empower them through financial education and inclusion.
Today, DhanSarthi operates with a three-step approach: financial inclusion, literacy, and leadership development. Our mission is to ensure that women not only gain access to formal financial systems like microfinance and savings groups but also understand how to manage their finances effectively. By fostering financial independence, we are helping women become leaders in their communities. Since our inception, DhanSarthi has grown significantly, now impacting thousands of women across 10 states in India.
